Volunteerism means doing something without being rewarded with money, but understanding that there's a big reward in doing something good that helps someone else.

If you would like to volunteer to promote the healthy lifestyle of refraining from all sexual activity until marriage, click here to download our Volunteer Form and forward to the office of Abstinence Education, Inc.

Teen Instructors

Our teen instructors are a very important part of the Pure & Simple project.  Our teen instructors are involved in two major areas: W.A.R. (Wichita Abstinence Revolution) meetings and episode presentations.  WAR is a get-together in which teen instructors have a chance to socialize with other teens who are committed to abstinence and participate in fun and educational activities.

At these meetings, the teens prepare to lead presentations of our “episodes”, which will be presented to various middle school groups around the city.  WAR is lead by one of our college coaches, each of whom are young adults committed to living the Pure & Simple Lifestyle themselves.  Our college coaches act as peer mentors to the teen instructors by getting to know them, answering questions, and giving personal testimony as to why they have chosen abstinence.

Any Kansas teen who lives in Sedgwick County or McPherson County and is interested in being a Teen instructor should contact the Wichita office at 316-688-0840 or toll free at 1-866-688-0840. If you prefer, you can click here to contact us by e-mail or click here to access the Teen Instructor Application form.
