Section A. Standards of Association
Each organization associated with the KAN shall appoint one representative to attend
KAN meetings. In the event the representative cannot attend, the organization shall assign a delegate.

However, they may assist by networking and interfacing with other organizations to further common goals and objectives.
- If an associated organization is not represented at a regularly scheduled meeting of the KAN, the Chair of the Advisory Committee shall contact the organization with a query as to that organization’s desire to continue to be associated with the KAN. If the organization is unable to send a representative to attend the meetings or desires to resign as a voting participant, such resignation will be submitted in writing to the Chair and the resignation shall be accepted.
- If an associated organization fails to be represented at two consecutive regularly scheduled meetings, that organization’s resignation as a voting participant shall be considered effective as of the date of the second missed meeting.

Notice of the informal review may be by telephone to the recalcitrant organization’s last designated representative whereby all involved persons may attend.
